Collapse of House Roof in Khost Kills One Woman; Three Others Injured

Local officials in Khost province have announced that the roof of a house collapsed in the Zazi district of this province, resulting in the death of a 64-year-old woman and injuring three others, including two children.

According to Mostaghfar Gurbaz, the spokesperson for the Taliban governor in Khost, the incident occurred on the afternoon of Sunday, June 30 (8 Saratan), in the village of Esar due to heavy rainfall. The injured individuals were taken to the Khost provincial hospital for treatment, and their health condition has been reported as satisfactory.

The spokesperson for the Taliban governor did not provide information regarding the age, gender, or identities of the injured.

Reports indicate that several provinces in Afghanistan have recently experienced heavy rains and flash floods. In a similar incident in Maidan Wardak province last Friday, a child lost their life and three others were injured.
